Story in the Everything EOS Weekly Report
The EOS Network Foundation (ENF) published a detailed story to highlight the debut meeting of Eden Fractal. The story was written by Dan Singjoy, the founder of Eden Fractal, while he was working for EOS Nation and writing articles for the ENF. You can read story here. The story is also shared below for your convenience.
Fifteen passionate community members met for the first Eden ƒractal meeting on June 8th and used the ƒractally process to reward Eden contributors with EOS, Eden Respect, and Eden NFTs. All participants expressed immense enthusiasm, gratitude, and excitement for the future of empowering the Eden on EOS community with weekly Eden ƒractal meetings!
After a brief introduction to the modified ƒractally process for the Eden ƒractal, the group split up into two groups of six participants. Each participant shared what they’re doing to help Eden with the members of their group and each group reached consensus within forty minutes to rank how much each participant is helping Eden on EOS. All participants made incredibly helpful contributions to the Eden community and received EOS & Eden Respect according to the ranking in their group, as well as beautiful special edition Eden NFTs.
The twelve participants in the first Eden ƒractal event were Vlad Hramtsov, Dan Singjoy, Chuck MacDonald, James Mart, Patrick Schmid, Felix Ruiz, Doug Wu, Marco Gonzalez, Duane Phillippi, Jay Taylor, Martin Breuer, and Mell Pearce. The group was greatly assisted by Joshua Seymour and former Chief Delegate Chris Barnes also attended to help support the event. The event was sponsored by Eden Creators, who have committed to donating 500 EOS and wrote the original proposal to start the Eden ƒractal & raise additional funding for future growth. Near the end of the first meeting, Patrick Schmid announced that NovaCrypto will donate an additional 500 EOS to the Eden ƒractal prize pool, which will enable the community to continue distributing 100 EOS per week to Eden contributors for several months. All funding from Eden Creators and NovaCrypto was raised via Pomelo and Eden on EOS, which are exceedingly helpful funding mechanisms for public goods that are uniquely possible on EOS.
The highest amount of Eden Respect was given to Vlad Hramtsov, the lead developer of Consortium and CETF, who is building smart contracts to enable Eden ƒractal participants to automate the consensus process with more interaction on the EOS blockchain. Vlad also created mock-ups for an intuitive Eden ƒractal UI with the help of fellow Eden member and colleague Lennar Lehestik. Complementing Vlad’s work, and in addition to inspiring the group with tremendously helpful insights, James Mart created basic versions of smart contracts that automatically distribute EOS & Eden Respect according to the Fibonacci ratio and enable participants to sign an on-chain Eden Contributor Agreement. Chief Delegate Chuck MacDonald crafted commemorative Eden NFTs for Eden ƒractal participants, shared fascinating plans to empower the Eden community with yield earning NFTs every week, and encouraged everyone to join the next Eden ƒractal Meetings during the eighth and ninth Chief Delegate Meetings.
Over the past week, the Eden community has been buzzing with activity and expressing great enthusiasm about the next Eden ƒractal events. During this week’s Genesis ƒractally meeting, EOS creator Daniel Larimer said that he is thrilled about the Eden ƒractal and suggested forming Mutual Respect between the Eden ƒractal and Genesis ƒractal. Many passionate community members discussed the Eden ƒractal during the past two Bywire Eden Town Halls in the Eden Discord and explored how the Eden ƒractal may synergize with the Eden Members Services proposal from Michael O’Sullivan that was ratified during the fifth Eden Chief Delegate Meeting. Patrick Schmid hosted an interview about Eden ƒractal on the NovaCrypto Youtube Channel, created a beautiful Eden ƒractal MindMap, and released a cinematic visual experience to help promote the Eden ƒractal. You can watch videos from the first Eden Fractal meeting here & here and you can also learn more about the first Eden Fractal meeting from Eden Creators founder Dan Singjoy on this week’s EOS Fireside Chat and EOS Hot Sauce.
Eden ƒractal events will recur every Wednesday at 13:00 UTC and everyone is welcome to attend. You can join the Eden ƒractal events every week to help Eden, help EOS, have fun with fellow community members, and be rewarded for your work. You can RSVP for the next event & learn more at EdenFractal.com, join the Eden Town Halls every Sunday at 16:00 UTC, and reach out with any questions or comments in the Eden Discord.

Donations from Novacrypto and Eden Creators
Three days after the first event Patrick Bernard Schmidt announced his donation of 500 from NovaCrypto LTD to fund Eden Fractal contributors. Patrick’s generosity enables the community to be funded for an additional five weeks for a total of 10 weeks when combined with Dan Singjoy’s donation of 500 EOS on behalf of Eden Creators. We thank our sponsors for their immense help in launching Eden Fractal 🙏🏽
James Mart’s Recording
James Mart engineer recorded his breakout room to ensure that our first meeting was well documented with multiple recordings. James Mart is a highly respected engineer who works for the Fractally team and he earned a level 5 in today’s meeting for his work creating the initial set of smart contracts that enable the distribution of Respect and EOS. You can see the repository for the Eden Fractal software that he created here. In addition to volunteering dozens of hours to develop our core software, James also played a key role in the weeks leading up to Eden Fractal’s first meeting to help design the our cooperating system and prepare for a successful launch.
