Eden Fractal Mission Game
We play a Respect Game focused on determining the mission of Eden Fractal
We’ll end the meeting with a mission if at least one breakout room can reach consensus, then we can always change it later in a future week’s proposal
The way it works is that we’ll play a respect game, but each person will share what they think should be the mission of eden fractal instead of sharing their contributions to eden fractal. Each player will have up to four minutes to explain what they think should be the mission of eden fractal and share their reasoning (or make their case), then the missions presented will be ranked.
If there are multiple breakout rooms, then the group will play a cignals or consortium game after the breakout rooms and they will select from the level 6 and whoever gets more votes use their respect points cignals. Put the top two or four proposals up on consortium and allow everyone to vote on consortium using their respect points.
Each player will earn respect points according to the level of their rank, just like the normal Respect Game. There may also be beautiful or fun art to award participants and commemorate the experience.
By the end of the meeting, Eden Fractal will have a mission. If we don’t like it . We trust the process and fellow community members that the proposal that wins is good and can change easy
Note that the minimum required respect of 300 for breakout room to be valid. Actually maybe it should be average of at least 50 per participant to include this. Think about how this could be gamed or overwhelmed.
Does there need to be a minumum amount of people In the room to count? Or some exception if we have 7?
Consider if we should ask everyone to record
Make it a qualification that onchain 66% is needed and or video
Propose Vision Game before Mission Game
- To some extent they go together and your vision can make more sense if you also present it with your proposed mission
- Participants (including me) are welcome to share their vision along with their proposed mission in the vision game
- The vision game doesn’t exclude anyone from offering their proposed mission or sharing other ideas for improvement
- The goal in the vision respect game will be to rank visions and choose the best one.
- Then we can reflect on it and change it later of course
