Eden Fractal Pitch Sessions
Pitches is a social coordination game where players compete to share the best pitches about public goods and their peers rank each others’ pitches!
So far we’ve played Pitches at two Eden Fractal Pitch Sessions where public goods creators had opportunities to promote their grants. These pitch sessions can be a great place to promote your work, learn about exciting projects, and network with other public goods creators!
Pitches are played with the new Cignals app, which enables communities to express consensus more effectively than ever before. One of our favorite parts of pitch sessions is how they can inspire cool shows. Similar to ideathons and other FractalJoy games, these pitch sessions provide natural opportunities for communities to collaboratively create media with the power of DAMS. For example, we’ve hosted four Pomelo Pitch Sessions at Eden Fractal meetings.
We held our first two Eden Fractal Pomelo Pitch Sessions with great success and heard amazing pitches to create public goods in week 41 and 42 of Eden Fractal. After that, we did two more in week 55 and week 56. You can watch all sessions and explore show notes in the links below:
EF 56: Gamifying Public Goods
Aloha! In our fourth public goods pitch session, we ride the groovy waves of collaboration and play Cignals to rank the most fun and beneficial pitches! 🌴 🌊 🏄🏽♂️
Game Rules for Eden Fractal Pitch Session #4
Written by Dan Singjoy
Let’s play a game where we share speeches about public goods! Each player will get up to three minutes to share their speech, then players will vote on Slido to determine who shared the most fun and beneficial speeches about public goods. You can pitch your Pomelo grant or share a speech about public goods. Bonus points will be awarded to speeches about how social consensus games supercharge public goods and collaboration.
I’ll donate 50 EOS between the top six winners of both categories and create special NFTs to commemorate the event. Half of the EOS will be split amongst the most beneficial speeches rated with the Cignals app and the other half will split between the most fun speeches using Slido. EOS will be distributed according to the fibonnaci ratio and self-votes will not be counted in this game. Rewards for players pitching their Pomelo grants will be amplified with the power of quadratic funding.
More details at EdenCreators.com/speeches and EdenCreators.com/pomelo. Have fun! 🌱
