Our mission is to create decision-making mechanisms that would be replicable at all levels of society by collaborating with communities to promote the research, development, testing and adoption of the best consensus building workflows and tools.
Our mission is to develop and disseminate effective decision-making processes and tools across society, through collaborative research, development, and implementation with communities, ensuring universally applicable consensus-building workflows.

Responses to Eric regarding “Promote the Adoption of the Respect Game”
- What is wrong with “promoting the adoption”? I think this is easy to understand. It can include building tools or promoting on twitter or something else. The Respect Game is meant to enable subjective assessment and judgement for the community around goals like this.
- We’re not done with the respect game, because it’s not very well adopted yet. We need to build better tools and help people understand how to play. That’s where the mission to promote it’s adoption comes in, and it is inclusive of these.
- Is it wrong to focus too much on a single product? Will the Respect Game get antiquated like the CD or is it evergreen? It seems evergreen to me. And we could always change or mission in the future if we decide to rebrand it or a better tool/method emerges
- The mission orients team members and gives community members direction. If we keep it more general like (review Tadas’ version), then does that give people more direction or less than promoting the adoption of the respect game? It seems promoting the adoption of the respect game specifies it to the set of tool/method that really
- I’m ok with a more detailed mission and using “what did you do to help promote the adoption of the respect game” as a game prompt
