1:12:05 Goes into notion presentation. Notion.so website, large teams already using notion coordinating tasks, all your work in one place, organize into wikis to easily share notes. Using it to collaborate with Vlad and Tadas, Also with Rosmari. Sebastian jumped in, saying it’s a great tool. Dan uses it for building websites and organize projects. Helpful for everyone, great place to collaborate for all communities. Details the options and functionalities. High level overview. Great tutorials available. ThomasjFrank.com has multiple tutorials on notion.
Sebastian didn’t know notion was close source. Disappointing that it’s not open source, great tool, revolutionary in his opinion.
Lisa comments let’s build it, everyone is going to want it. Build a decentralized version. Using Google sites , it’s cheap, free and open and won’t go away unless google says get rid of it, hears Dan lari are working on possible solutions.
Sebastian thinks it’s most important to think about the technology. Lisa challenges Sebastian to work on it and see if they can get a meeting to see what can be done.
Joe hasn’t tried notion yet, tried other things. As a newcomer, it’s a lot of hoops to jump thru. Fine line between too much and not enough.
Dan responds to Lisa, Joe and Sebastian, all newcomers do t have to know notion, it can be eased into it.
Tadas comments about notion being closed source, Sebastian jumps in saying there’s a pay wall, Noam jumps in no point adopting new technology when new one is coming out in year or two. Tadas sees nothing bad about using it, as a process to collaborate, when using it and done it can be exported.
Dan agrees with Tadas comments most of the tools we are using, zoom, telegram , you tube are close source. As it is now notion is super helpful, mentions some ap flows which is an open source option to notion. Dan builds all websites with notion. Ie Eden fractal, Eden creators. Notion has export functionality
Patrick comments there a lot of open source on the market. We can use notion then send links to mindmap, removing from notion, fractal mindmaps. Collecting information, mindmap can be support to blockchain.
Sebastian has point on open or close source, not always necessary to always have open source, we are scaling slow. As we figure out a way to scale up, we can do it very fast or do it in organic way. Patrick adds Daniel larimar decentralization is not end goal, by using all tools is a good way to distribute data. Using notion, mindmap back up, using IPFS should you tube channel go down we’d lose all our work
Dan comments that firmament allows people to store documents locally, Noam jumps in question to Patrick on IPSF fees, Patrick responds with details on how it works.
Dan comments another 20 minutes , continue talking of notion or go on to next topic. Dan reads out from chats comments from Tadas and Noam. Notion can speed up our growth, standardize processes that help us grow faster while keeping dependency low, maximize value
Sebastian people are missing the excitement, read the book more equal animals, make short clips will attract a lot of people.
Dan thinks that’s the way people learn, short videos, making clips, can expand and offer as a service. Sebastian jumps in on the concept of EOS, . Dan asks Sebastian to share link.
Patrick suggests using swarms for shorts, make three shorts that swarm. Goes into detail how it works.
Sebastian speaks of trying fractally in Germany on a small scale.asks if more people are joining every week is there a membership fee, how do think the value would be for Eden fractal. Asks this of Patrick who responds with do multiple one minute rant, then store short clips in mindmap, then swarm. Use notion in good way, connecting with all our tools
Dan recommends patrick speak about eos den at future date. Reads out messages in chat, comments from Rosmari, Red and Lisa. Sebastian jumps in sharing info on eos bees. Don’t over hype things, hopes fractally approach takes off, gradual process.
Patrick suggest if you have funds from delegates, use your funds the return will be greater than using for yourself 1:59:96 Dan comments to stay on topic, encourages everyone to submit there consensus in app. Dan reads out results, comments on issues of not entering results. Dan mentions it would be good if there could be a confirmation or a link on the app.
Vlad responds there is a confirmation behind the model, it appears on right corner on bottom.
Sebastian asks in there is fingerprint on new devices, finger print could be copied.
Patrick check confirmation before submitted, goes over procedure in submitting , filling of form was not working properly
Dan shares final thought on notion, also get consensus results down pat, more people to submit. Asks others for thoughts
Noam has question on agreement that Dan proposed, Noam is having issue with voting on agreement by Dan
Dan shares screen to show Noam how the voting is done, explaining how it works, Dan reads out chats, comments we’ll try the agreement next week. Speaks of funding , ways to raise funding. Helping everyone to cooperate with consensus games. Sebastian jumped in , he’s inspired by the pomelo pitches, wants to do those for the EVM. Expand the EOS eco system. Patrick commented mire web 3 users needed, more content creators, Dan agrees , games were doing with Eden fractal will help so much.
