Highlights
The meeting was a vibrant oasis of creativity, with a main discussion about the testing of Jitsi! The team also brainstormed names for the Cagendas minigame new mini-game Tropics. πΊπΏπ΄
Jitsi
Jitsi is an open-source video conferencing software that allows to easily build and deploy secure video conferencing calls. Jitsi is helpful open-source alternative to Zoom with a secure, open-source video calls. You can learn more on jitsi.org website.
Dan shared a presentation on Jitsi with details about its features, functionality, and privacy at 1:34:50 and 1:49:05. The test of Jitsi begins at 1:49:05 and key features highlighted from this test are summarised at 1:58:18. The players were testing breakout rooms, sharing screens, GIFs, emojis, reactions and more throughout 1:58:18 - 2:25:58.
Topics Game
Dan, Jorge, Perry, Eric, and Marco discussed Tropics name, as well as the branding/name of cagendas at 1:08:39.
Upland Fractal
Joe talked about the inspiration to start up an Upland Fractal, and shared details on his intentions with Upland at 40:19.
Respect Game Recaps
There were many exciting updates from players, such as Marcoβs thoughts on Hypha, EVM, and updates on main project W3 briefs at 8:57. Noam commented on tax implications, Eyeke council TLM, and suggested exploring the equivalent of a mutual fund on a smart contract at 18:57. Duane discussed his work on Hypha at 13:09 and 2:25:58, whilst also being a lead for tech communities on Eden on EOS.
