Alien Worlds Collaboration and Recommendations
Eden Fractal is trailblazing cooperative communication and decentralized governance by sending consensus signals for planetary leaders in Alien Worlds!
With a vast metaverse of passionate players and more on-chain activity than any other dApp, Alien Worlds is the most popular game in Web3. Our recommendations for Alien Worlds started in early 2023 when the creator and lead developer of the game, Michael Yeates, requested our recommendations to help choose leaders on one of the six planetary DAOs in the ecosystem. After months of planning, Michael built IBC software that automatically casts votes for candidates in Alien Worlds on WAX based upon recommendations from Eden Fractal. You can watch our 47th and 48th episodes to see us discuss the beginnings of this collaboration and recommend cosmic leaders Lisa and Duane on Planet Eyeke.
In this week’s episode, we shared our third deep discussion about Alien Worlds and the Eden+Fractal council formed consensus to recommend Vlad and Red as custodians on Planet Eyeke. You can watch the full hour long discussion and explore the timestamps below. You can see the approved proposal, council spreadsheet, and this post for more details about the formation of consensus.
Our ongoing collaborations with Alien Worlds show the superpower of democratic community consensus and state of the art communication features of Antelope IBC. There are three ways that this is a revolutionary change… First, fractal community governance cooperation - resourceful planet with meaningful. With over 5 million trilum. Secondly, IBC antelope. Third,
Never before has it been possible for a community of players . Nor has it been possible to
Neither has it been possible to
And never has such a resourceful planet
a significant milestone in the development of human cooperation on Planet Earth.
resourceful planet with so many great leaders
You can see Michael Yeates post about new software he created to facilitate Eden Fractal recommendations for Alien Worlds candidates via IBC here and also hear the creator of IBC, Gnome, share an exciting update about how Eden Fractal players on EOS can recommend Alien Worlds candidates on WAX here. Our founder Dan Singjoy, who has been acting as representative for the Eden+Fractal council in Alien Worlds wrote a post about the voting process and recommendations on a weekly basis.

“Now what we’re beginning to see is that literal protocols are being built on top of IBC. Yesterday Michael Yeates (the creator of Alien Worlds) announced that he finished writing a smart contract that would allow players or participants in Eden Fractal on EOS to have their votes transferred through IBC to WAX and be taken into consideration for voting the custodians on the planets of Alien Worlds. So that to me is really exciting because now we can see people building additional apps that are using IBC to build their own workflows and processes that connect chains together. So we’re really starting to see these distributed apps that reside on multiple chain at the same time and having the different parts of their applications communicating through this protocol. So this is very, very exciting stuff! I’m really looking forward to seeing what’s going to emerge out of that and it’s impossible to know. I think some people will blow our minds in the next few months and hopefully for years with amazing applications like this.” - Gnome, Creator of Antelope IBC and co-founder of UX Network and EOS Titan

Over two hundred thousand players play Alien Worlds every day, as you can see on DappRadar or the Alien Worlds stats page. Alien Worlds was founded by the creators of EOS DAC, which reflects on the multiple community members vocal about decentralized governance.
