Description
T76: Eden Fractal’s Next Season and Intents
I suggest that we set four core intents to achieve our mission during a three month season of Eden Fractal in early 2024. The four suggested intents are to fund fractal participants, foster fractal events, build fractal tools, and create fractal media. Each of these intents should have some goals that we collectively work towards throughout the season and metrics to measure our progress. This will help Eden Fractal create unstoppable momentum and make the best and grow fractal communities to make the experiences possible for all. I’m writing more details at the following link and am curious to hear your thoughts https://edencreators.notion.site/T76-Eden-Fractal-s-Next-Season-and-Intents-e2cf29dfa1d04638a76488b775573a7c?pvs=4

T76: Eden Fractal’s Next Season and Intents
I suggest that take the following course of action:
Let’s discuss for the next season of Eden Fractal, each of which is focused the proposed mission of Eden Fractal to grow fractal communities.
After discussing these intents this week and deliberating, we’ll refine our intents and approve a proposal in the following weekly meetings to set our core intents for next season. The proposal should aim to set the intents for a 10-13 week season starting in early 2024. The intents may be changed via another proposal approved by delegates at any time, though we should keep the intents consistent for the entirety of the season to keep it simple for participants.
At the end of the season, we’ll publish a report to summarize our progress towards these goals. Over time, we’ll work increase media production to tell the story about our progress and quantify our work towards these goals in dashboards to help everyone enjoy our fractal journey. We’ll also experiment with new kinds of consensus games, playoffs/tournaments, and awards to recognize the top contributors who help grow fractal communities. This will help with unstoppable momentum and share fun experiences to make the best experiences possible for all.
The four suggested intents are as follows:
Fractal Funding
- Earn funding for fractal community members
- Consensus as a service
- So far has helped with alien worlds and pomelo collection has raised x, though it’s not easy to provide clear numbers here
- How much funding can be attributed to ‘lists’ or funding based upon respect scores?
Why:
Funding will incentivize discovery and learning and growth
Actions:
Fractal Events
- Gameplay/Communities
- How much collaboration?
- More consensus games
- How many communities are playing fractal consensus games?
- How many fractal consensus games are being played and for how much time?
- Gameplay hours
- How much are participants enjoying fractal
- How much helpful work are these games inspiring?
- it should be fun and joyful
- makes it easier for people to learn
Fractal Media
- How many articles? How many videos?
- What is the viewership and readership?
- How much are these inspiring?
- This might be difficult to measure and maybe it’s best to keep it more measurable?
- it should be fun and joyful
Fractal Tools
- Develop fractal code that helps fractal communities
- Software for consensus games
- Increases coordination capacity
- Increase amount of developers
- Increase time of developers
- Open Source code stars, repositories, etc
- Composable interactions
